Análise das trajetórias das massas de ar pelo modelo HYSPLIT para o município de Barreiras, BA

Resumo

This work aimed to verify the origin of air masses that affect seasonal, monthly and annually in the Municipality of Barreiras, BA, through the analysis of models retroceding paths, checking the guidance of air masses, as the wind rose during the years 2013 and 2014. The calculation of the trajectories was conducted from HYSPLIT model (online version) lasting 96 hours in advance (UTC), and altitudes of 700, 1400 and 2100 meters. The results showed that the percentage distribution of the directions of air masses each year and monthly varies seasonally direction ESE is the main observed route, comprising more than 50% of cases for study period.
