Resumo

Barreiras’s soils present themselves as homogeneous in terms of textural characteristics and real density, and distinct in terms of apparent density, once the two first attributes are related to the source material, and the second attribute refers to the relation of the soil with the other formation factors. The soil physics data allow the interpretation of such soils origin and their dynamic behavior.
