Resumo

Conidial fungi are important for decomposition of organic matter, increasing biomass production. Among these organisms, the hyphomycetes and coelomycetes represent a part of conidial fungi responsible for decomposing leaf litter, and their differences are related to the forms of the conidiophores arrangement. With the increase of research been published for Brazil and Bahia, leaf litter was collected in a Valley Forest fragment in São Desidério in order to assess its mycological information. The leaf litter was washed, dried, disposed inside sterile Petri dishes and placed in a moist chamber. After 72 hours, fungi were collected during 20 days. With specific references, 16 fungi were identified, which six was decomposing lignified material and ten was found decomposing non-lignified material.
