Allergic and infectious diseases cause morbidity and mortality. Studying natural products it is necessary for the development of new drugs. We investigated asthma risk factors and evaluated the antimicrobial activity of Caesalpinia pluviosa extract that inhibited the growth of Staphylococcus aureus.
