Avaliação da toxicidade de extratos de Copaifera sabulicola J. A. S. Queiroz em ensaio de letalidade com o microcrustáceo Artemia salina

Resumo

This work aims to assay the toxicity of extracts using the brine shrimp (Artemia salina) lethality test. The leaves ethanolic extract showed the LC₅₀ value of 504.5 μg/mL, while the stem bark ethanolic extract showed a LC₅₀ value greater than 1 mg/mL. Tthe stem bark extract is not toxic, while the leaves extract can be considered to has weak toxicity.
