Levantamento das Melastomataceae nos arredores da Cachoeira do Acaba Vida

Resumo

The Melastomataceae family is the sixth largest family of angiosperms in Brazil. Through bibliographical consultations, herbarium surveys and botanical collections, it was possible to survey the species that occur in the Acaba Vida waterfall, identify, elaborate a taxonomic key, as well as the morphological description of each one. We have eight genera in the study area and 13 species, of which two are considered as new occurrences.
