Bovine mastitis is a problem that affects the milk quality. This study aimed to characterize the dairy properties of Barra city, as well as to diagnose cases of clinical and subclinical mastitis. There was higher occurrence of subclinical mastitis. The microbial analisis suggested that most was Staphylococcus genus.
