Resumo

In situations of abiotic stresses (eg, water restriction), plants produce ROS more than their capacity to consume them, causing oxidative stress. Amburanacearensis presents resistance to water restriction. The aim of this study was to evaluate the activity of the antioxidant enzymes Glutathione reductase (GR) and Ascorbate peroxidase (APX) in seedlings of this species by Bradford method with spectrophotometer reading, concluding that A.cearensis possesses active antioxidant defense enzymes in their parts Air transport.
