Repercussões da insegurança alimentar sobre o estado nutricional da população idosa residente no município de Barreiras, BA

Resumo

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of Food Insecurity (FI) on the nutritional status of the elderly population of Barreiras/BA. The elderly analyzed had a high prevalence of FI, affecting more than half of the individuals interviewed and the nutritional status of the elderly may be related to FI, leading to nutritional disorders.
