Cultivo e estudo dos óleos essenciais e fixo da espécie Plantago major

Resumo

The objective of this study was to determine the content of phenolic compounds and to evaluate the antioxidant activity of the essential and fixed oils of the Plantago major.l species, as well as the identification of the major constituents through the gas chromatography coupled to the mass spectrometer. The results expressed a high antioxidant potential characterized by the fact that hexadecanoic acid is the major compound identified in CG/MS.
