Resumo

In this work, we developed a procedure to determine the local structure of theIon in a highly symmetrical crystal. The local structure of the Eu³⁺in XMgF₃(X= Rb, Cs, K) was obtained using the Crystalline Field Theory, together with Simple Overlap Model and the Method of Nearest Neighbors.
