Resumo

Simulations performed with General Circulation Model of the Kyushu University were used to investigate the presence and the effects of the ultra-fast Kelvin waves on the MLT OH(6-2), O2b(0-1) and OI557.7nm airglow. The space-time spectral analysis allowed us to identify a eastward zonal wavenumber one propagating wave with period of about 4 days in the all three emissions and in the atomic oxygen concentration, temperature and zonal wind, which are the primary parameters that drive the airglow. No evidences of nonlinear interactions between the ultra-fast Kelvin wave and the atmospheric tides were found
