Resumo

This report aims to understand the construction of ethnic identity through the social memory of the group in the community of Fortaleza, located in the municipality of Bom Jesus da Lapa, Bahia. Based on the identification of important events in the trajectory and identity of these subjects, understanding how the appropriation of quilombola identity impacted the social organization of these residents.
