Identidade corrente

Resumo

The scientific initiation project “Identidade Corrente”, in its second stage of research (the first one occurred between July 2015 and July 2016), which is about popular catholicism expression in the Territory of Identity of the Corrente Basin (TIBC), started in August 2016. From then on, several cultural expressions were analyzed: Epiphany festivals (in urban and rural areas), Epiphany festivals’ chula , Saint Sebastian festival, Our Lady of Deliverance festival, Recommendation and Mourning of Departing Souls, Saint John’s giro and the caretagem, festival that takes place during the Holy Week.
