Desenvolvimento de um aplicativo de celular para classificação de solos do município de Barreiras

Resumo

Soil color is an important indicator of its chemical composition and physical characteristics. Currently, the Munsell chart is the most commonly used soil classification method, which depends on both analyst's experience and lighting conditions. This justifies the development of a cellphone application for soil classification of the municipality of Barreiras-BA, given its enormous agricultural potential. The results obtained so far indicate that the proposed methodology demonstrates good potential for this purpose. However, it is still necessary to collect more types of soils to ensure the complete representativeness of the studied region.
