Avaliação da conformidade dos itens na rotulagem nutricional de alimentos produzidos por indústrias de pequeno porte e comercializados no município de Barreiras – BA

Resumo

Thirty-one product labels of the following food categories available in the market of Barreiras (BA) were analyzed: frozen foods, coffee, cereals and grains, sweets and honey, dairy products, and bakery products. These products had a high index of non-conforming labels (56%), suggesting that such scenario contributes to the decrease in the quality of the food consumption and, as a consequence, it puts in risk the well-being of the consumer.
