Marcadores antropométricos e fatores de risco para doenças cardiovasculares em idosos de Barreiras, Bahia

Resumo

The objective of this study is to identify the prevalence of cardiovascular risk indicators in the elderly. Biopsychosocial and demographic aspects, morbidity profile, WC and BMI were studied. The most significant cardiovascular risk indicators were high blood pressure, presence of arterial hypertension, sedentary lifestyle and smoking.
