Author Guidelines

Pesquisa e Ensino publishes unpublished papers in Portuguese, English, French or Spanish that discuss and present answers to educational phenomena related to Teaching, Education and other correlated areas. The journal also publishes translations and interviews. Texts in English or French may be translated into Portuguese and published in the same issue. We only accept material produced by researchers, professors and students which contain results of research. Submissions are continuous and publication is free.

The Journal does not charge APCs nor submission charges.

ON THE SUBMISSION OF ORIGINAL ARTICLE

(1) At least one of the authors must have a doctoral or master degree in the Teaching, Education or correlated areas;

(2) a) The article must have a maximum of three authors (exceptional cases must be justified and will be analyzed by the editor);

(3) The authors are responsible for all syntactic, spelling and bibliographical corrections, as well as the revision of typing, since, if approved, the article will be published in the way it was sent;

(4) Corrections in writing, creativity in the theoretical and methodological approach of the text, clarity and relevance of the style of writing are questions of evaluation by reviewers;

(5) The contents of the signed articles are the sole responsibility of the authors and do not express the opinion of the Editors nor of the Editorial Board;

(6) The original article should be submitted in CEGA VERSION (without any identification of the authors) through the OJS Platform (https://revistas.ufob.edu.br/index.php/pqe);

(7) The submission for regular editions has a continuous flow of receipt and processing. For thematic/special numbers there are specific call for papers;

RULES FOR THE ELABORATION OF ARTICLE

(8) The final formatting of the articles will be done by the Editor and the Editorial Council of the Pesquisa e Ensino;

(9) Only papers prepared in the template will be sent for analysis in link template;

(10) The papers should be written between 15 and 25 pages, exceptional cases will be evaluated by the Editor if accompanied by justification of the authors in a specific exception request;

(11) The interview should contain an introduction that contextualizes and justifies its relevance to the area of Teaching, Education or correlated areas, and should not exceed 15 pages.

(12) The current APA (American Psychological Association) standards for academic production should be followed.

Copyright

A new publication of the paper published in the Pesquisa e Ensino, on the initiative of its authors or of third parties, is subject to the express mention of the precedence of its publication in this periodical, citing the edition and date of that publication. Authors who publish in the jounal agree to the following terms:

- The Editorial Board reserves the right to make, in the originals, normative, syntactic, spelling and bibliographic changes with a view to maintaining the cultured standard of the language, respecting, however, the style of the authors. Final evidence may or may not be sent to authors.

- Authors maintain the copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License.

- Authors are authorized to take additional contracts separately, for non-exclusive distribution of the version of the work published in this journal, for example: publish in institutional repository or as chapter of book, with acknowledgment of authorship and initial publication in Pesquisa e Ensino.

- Authors are allowed and encouraged to publish and distribute their work online — in institutional repositories, personal page, social network or other sites of scientific dissemination.
